Abstract Guidelines
- All abstracts must have a maximum of 200 words in English.
- All abstracts including plenary lectures must be submitted electronically via the online submission system.
- All oral authors must submit a full paper that follow the format for peer review. (approx. 10 pages or less that follow the format)
- All papers will be available in the proceedings.
- The type of presentation is only Oral Presentation.
Note:In the Lead-Zinc 2026 symposium, MMIJ will not prevent contents of articles and presentations that have already been made public at other societies and conferences.
Note:Authors must ensure that copyright issues do not arise by obtaining permission to reproduce, etc. (Please see copyright information below.)
Note:Issues such as duplicate evaluations that arise in the evaluation of achievements such as promotions must be managed at the author's own responsibility, for example by noting
in the achievements list that there are duplicate presentations with the same content.
Note:Papers are optional for plenary keynotes.
Note:Failure of registration payment by the deadline may result in the removal of your presentation from the program and your abstract and paper from the proceedings.
Manuscript Guidelines
A submission system for proceedings will be launched at a later date in conjunction with the abstract submission system.
When preparing your proceedings manuscript, please download the word template and use it. The template also includes instructions for preparing the manuscript.
The authors must complete COPYRIGHT FORM to Proceedings of Lead-Zinc 2026 and submit it.
How to Submit
Please create your manuscript using the Proceedings Template.
Note: Please keep the file size to 10MB or less.
Detailed instructions on how to prepare your manuscript are provided in the template.
Please submit your manuscript by the deadline using the following steps:
- Log in to the Confit system using the same A-Pass you used to register your abstract.
- There is a "Paper Submission" column below "Abstract Submission Status." Click "Agree" to enter.
- On the "File Upload" page, upload your Proceedings paper (Word file) and Copyright form (PDF file).
Note: After peer review of the Proceedings paper, each author will be notified of any corrections or other matters and will be notified of the submission of the final version (PDF file).

In the Lead-Zinc 2026 symposium, the Mining and Materials Processing Institute of Japan (MMIJ) does not restrict the submission of articles or presentations that have already been made public
at other academic societies or conferences.

Any issues related to duplicate evaluation of academic achievements, such as those arising in promotion or performance assessments, shall be the sole responsibility of the authors. Authors are
advised to clearly indicate duplicate presentations in their list of achievements where applicable.

When preparing manuscripts for this symposium, if the manuscript contains previously published material, the authors must obtain permission from the relevant copyright holder and publisher.
Such reproduced material must be clearly identified in the figure captions or text, together with appropriate citation of the original source.

If any modifications are made to previously published material, the authors must also obtain permission for such modifications, and the nature of the modifications must be clearly stated in
the manuscript with proper citation.
- The electronic proceedings of Lead-Zinc 2026 will be distributed to symposium participants. After a certain period, the proceedings may be made available for purchase by MMIJ.

MMIJ shall not be held responsible for any issues arising from individual articles or presentations, including but not limited to matters concerning copyright, image rights, or personal
information. Authors are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

In accordance with the “Copyright Regulations of the Mining and Materials Processing Institute of Japan (MMIJ),” the copyright of the manuscript specified above shall be transferred to MMIJ
upon acceptance for publication.
